About

My current aim in art is to represent the many aspects of humanity, the strengths and weaknesses, love, hope and loss. Death, depression and mental illness play big parts in a majority of my works, as I find these tales are the ones that people are rarely comfortable to express or show and need further representation. I often use my own experiences to propel my works as I have no inhibitions about expressing who I am and laying myself open for all to see. It is my hope that people will be able to identify with some of my problems and find comfort in knowing that they are not suffering alone in this world. I explore my art through raw, expressive and symbolic drawings and photographs.

I am currently studying for an Bachelor of Fine Arts through Newcastle University in which I am majoring in Photomedia. I’m currently dealing heavily with alternative processes in photographic medium. I had completed my Diploma and Advanced Diploma of fine Arts from 2008 at Newcastle Art School and have appeared in numerous group exhibits from within and outside the college.
